The Spirit is Willing but the Body is Weak

Matthew 26:40-46
40Then he returned to his disciples and found them sleeping. "Could you men not keep watch with me for one hour?" he asked Peter. 41"Watch and pray so that you will not fall into temptation. The spirit is willing, but the body is weak.” 42He went away a second time and prayed, "My Father, if it is not possible for this cup to be taken away unless I drink it, may your will be done."43When he came back, he again found them sleeping, because their eyes were heavy. 44So he left them and went away once more and prayed the third time, saying the same thing. 45Then he returned to the disciples and said to them, "Are you still sleeping and resting? Look, the hour is near, and the Son of Man is betrayed into the hands of sinners. 46Rise, let us go! Here comes my betrayer!"

The Silver Chair, C.S. Lewis
“Oh, come on, Pole, buck up, “ said Scrubb’s voice. “After all, it is an adventure.”
“I’m sick of adventures,” said Jill crossly (63).
“He doesn’t sound tired,” thought Jill. She did not realize that [Scrubb] had been on great adventures in that world before and that the Narnian air was bringing back to him a strength he had won when he sailed the Eastern Seas with King Caspian” (64).
Jill had to pinch herself to keep awake, for she knew that if she dozed on Glimfeather’s back she would probably fall off (64).

I like looking at the Silver Chair quotes through the lens of these scriptures. It suggests that sometimes it takes physical training to accomplish spiritual feats in righteousness. Which makes me questions myself: Where do I need to physically train, so that I may be spiritually strong in and for Christ?
